The HEY BABY team presented at the International Workshop on HIV and Adolescence 2023, which took place in Lusaka, Zambia.


A/Prof Elona Toska was invited to speak on ‘Targeting for Triumph: HIV and SRHR Programming for Multi-Dimensional Adolescent Well-Being’ during a session titled ‘Reaching Adolescents – Those Most in Need’.

Dr Mona Ibrahim was invited to speak on ‘Risks, Rights, and Multi-Sectoral Responses: Advancing SRHR for Adolescents’.

HEY BABY team members presented on various topics using data collected from the HEY BABY and Khanyisa Ngemfundo studies, including an oral presentation by Jenny Chen-Charles, a PhD student, on ‘Missed Opportunities for PrEP Uptake Among Adolescent Girls and Young Women Who Are Mothers at Risk of HIV in South Africa(see the slides here).
